The Adventure Pack

It was seeming like today's hike would be another stick-free expedition, but Rucksack found one he liked in the last leg and then Coco followed suit and found a big, gnarled piece of a branch to carry along a short way.  Wesley and I had a brief encounter with a bee today.  I felt something land on my head and brushed at my hair to get it out; a moment later Wesley was pawing at his mouth.  After a few moments, he stopped and I saw the bee wriggling around on the ground next to him.  I can only guess that the bee was the culprit behind both my and Welsey's annoyances, and it fell onto Wesley's nose when I brushed it out of my hair.  Wesley seemed unfazed once he got the bee off of him.  A few minutes later, Coco came out of the brush with a cactus-like burr with long needles stuck to her chin and she shook her head around for a minute before it finally fell off.

The Play Pack

At the park, Fletcher herded Coco back to me while she fetched tennis balls.  With Fletcher's help guiding her, Coco was much better at bringing the ball back today than she was yesterday.  A Pit Bull/Lab mix joined in our game of fetch for a little while and she was a lot faster than Coco.  I did what I could to throw the ball so Coco would have a chance of getting their first, which she did some of the time.  Fletcher followed them out to the ball and accompanied the victor back, whoever it was, every time.  Fletcher and Coco also had a few bouts of wrestling and Fletcher let out an excited, whiny growl throughout their play together.
