The Adventure Pack

The smoke was hardly noticeable this morning, so the hike was on.  Hopefully the lack of smoke is a good sign for the ongoing firefighting efforts in Fourmile Canyon.  Surprisingly, there was no stick-carrying on today's hike by either Rucksack or Coco.  We hiked partway up the third flatiron.  Mogul was more interested in the water from the Camelbak than usual today; normally he shies away and just laps at it a few times, but today he was going to town.

The Play Pack

Mogul gave chase to Coco a couple different times at the park.  It's great to see him getting more playful again.  Coco was inconsistent with her fetching today - it's still a work in progress.  She lied down with Keeyush later on in the visit and the two of them chewed each other's faces affectionately for a little while.  She also played with a 6 month old, brown German Shorthaired Pointer puppy.  Mogul found a couple playmates that got him spinning and hopping around.  He was especially fond of a black Lab mix.
