The Adventure Pack

Toskey loves taking shortcuts when we're hiking up or down switchback trails, and meeting the back when we come around the bend.  While she waits, she usually finds a big rock to stand on and survey the area.  Wesley kept up alongside me the whole hike, although he seemed grateful when we took a couple water breaks along the way.  When we stopped for a picture, I asked the whole pack to sit; Wesley decided to lie down.  Coco was back to her theiving antics today after Rucksack found a stick to carry.  She'd sneak up from behind him and grab it right out of his mouth, and then he'd go chasing after her for it.

The Play Pack

Charlie, Fletcher and Coco all had a lot of fun with an adorable puppy at the park named Sammy.  Charlie has boundless energy at the park - even more so than Coco - and whenever Sammy took a break from play Charlie and Coco would go at it together.  Both Sammy and Coco were the objects of a few chases that broke out, and Fletcher was always the lead dog in pursuit.  Much like on the hike, Fletcher made a very regular habit of pausing every so often and looking at me or trotting by me right at my side, just to check in.
