On today's hike, Coco and Rucksack started off with a good run with each other.  Mogul kept up throughout the hike but wasn't into chasing.  About halfway through the hike, we came across some people visiting from Florida who have a Labradoodle of their own at home.  They passed us on their way down shortly before we headed back down ourselves, and we caught up to them when we were coming down.  At the time, Rucksack was carrying a stick and he kept running up to the last person in their group, dropping his stick behind them, and then waiting for a few moments.  It seemed as though he took a liking to them and was trying to offer them a present, although maybe he was just getting tired carrying the stick and figured it was a good time to take a break whenever he caught up to them.

At the park, Coco and Rucksack played a lot of fetch.  I finally got a Chuck-It to use at the park.  I used to prefer throwing the balls by hand, for no particular reason, but I've had it in the back of my mind to get one for a couple weeks now; yesterday, I opened up a package I received from my parents in Connecticut and guess what - it was a Chuck-It!  With the aid of the Chuck-It, Coco and Rucksack retreived some very long throws.  Mogul met a Greyhound today who got him feeling playful and I got to see his play-spin again!
