Adventure Pack

We came across a whole herd of deer at the same splace we spotted that one yesterday.  This time, Coco and Monarch were the ones to take notice while Sputnik and Clover were just trotting along and sniffing at the trail in front of them.  When we stopped a couple times for water breaks today, Clover was back to pulling away from the spout and chomping awkwardly at the air when I offered her a drink.  Monarch was a little more hesitant than she has been lately, but once she started drinking she continued until she had her fill.  Sputnik and Coco were eager to have a drink, as usual.

Play Pack

Isaac and Coco played some fetch today.  They shared a ball for a while since Coco didn't bring it back after chasing it down, but then Coco started bringing the ball back and taking more initiative to run after even some of the longer throws, so I got a ball for each of them to keep them both busy.  Meanwhile, Mamacita and Ruffers were both having fun with a Miniature Australian Shepherd.  They ran all around with their new friend - Mamacita with a goofy bounce in her gait and Ruffers with a more poised focus to her darts and dodges.  Thompson took his time walking the perimeter of the park and came over to me to get some neck scratches while his packmates were off chasing balls and playing.
