Adventure Pack
Rucksack and Sputnik both chomped on some snow from what little remained in patches alongside the trail. Coco and Mamacita were content with the water from the CamelBak. I was actually surprised to see how willing Mamacita was to take water today, as she usual turns away when I offer it to her. Today, she drank it up right in turn after her packmates.
Play pack
Colby, Thompson, and Stella flanked my right while Ruffers, Mamacita, and Coco flanked my left as we walked the Boulder Creek Path this afternoon. The weather was beautiful today and especially nice for our afternoon walk. The pack got a lot of smiles from passers-by along the Creek. Thompson was a bit distracted early on but eventually settled into the rhythm, with Colby following suit alongside him. Thompson was distracted by smells while it seemed Colby was distracted by a general sense of nervousness as she looked around a lot and kept speeding up and slowing down, while swapping positions with Thompson. But before long, the pair of them were moving along smoothly and the pack made very few stops. Ruffers pulled a bit when she wanted to go greet a passing dog, but the momentum of the pack kept us moving along. A bit later, we passed a very young puppy. While Ruffers and Coco both seemed to take note of him, neither felt drawn to try to go say hello. Stella and Mamacita brough up the rear dutifully and without any fuss.
