Adventure Pack

Mamacita and Coco were both interested in chomping on snow from the patches left beside the trail.  Sputnik was more interested in sniffing and peeing on things than joining his packmates for a bite.  Mamacita and Sputnik both got pretty worked up about the first dog they saw at the trailhead, but we had calmer encounters with some distance when we came upon other dogs during the hike.

Play Pack

Ruffers and Colby were feeling very playful at the outset of our walk along Boulder Creek this afternoon.  They teased each other by poking their noses at the sides of each other's faces and then they dropped into bows and hopped around together, playfully.  Meanwhile, Thompson was adamant that we make frequent stops along the way so he could leave scent marks.  During one pit stop, the playful spirit caught Coco as well and she grabbed up a stick to throw around and chew up while Colby and Ruffers hopped around with her and with each other.  Despite the dreary weather, it was a lively afternoon!
