Adventure Pack

Sputnik, Clover, and Coco all hiked along pleasantly this morning, while Monarch was feeling a bit more rambunctious. After a few minutes on the trail, she settled into the rhythm with her packmates and only pulled a little bit. She and Sputnik enjoyed drinks from the CamelBak while Coco and Clover opted out. Clover still hasn't taken water from the spout yet, but she has gradually been getting more comfortable with having it brough up to her mouth without pulling away. We stopped to snap some photos at one point and Monarch took the opportunity to playfully leap around Coco while Coco dodged back and forth in response. Clover and Sputnik stayed pretty calm throughout.

Isaac actually took some breaks from fetch today to join in a chase after a young black Lab who was very quick. He was so quick that Isaac could only just keep up, instead of overtaking him as he does with most dogs. Sanaya enjoyed rolling around and stretching out in the snow while chewing on a tennis ball. She also had fun bossing around a couple goofy pups who wanted her attention. Coco spent much of her time waiting for me to check down tennis ball passes to her. She stands off at a short distance and stares at me with single-minded focus until I throw the ball to her in the middle of Isaac's runs. Ruffers made friends with a little dog who looked like a Pomeranian mix - a bit bigger than typical Pom Poms - and they had fun dancing around each other and barking to egg each other on. Thompson took his usual route around the park and got attention from some people at the center pad.
