Adventure Pack

The wind was really blowing this morning as the pack headed back to the CU South Campus trails for our hike. As such, there were far fewer people out than there had been last Friday, when people were taking advantage of the freshly fallen snow. The snow had all turned to mud by this morning, and Coco, Sputnik, Rucksack, and Mamacita all got well-splattered with it over the course of the hike.

Play Pack

Winds were less intense this afternoon as Thompson, Buddy, Sanaya, Stella, and Coco walked the Bear Creek Path. Thompson and Buddy were both in their own worlds and kept pulling ahead and/or off the side of the path with full force and no warning, invariably following their noses towards something to pee on. Meanwhile, tella, Coco, and Sanaya were perfect ladies as they trotted along in place by me. When they wanted to stop for a sniff, they edged politely to the side of the path and slowed down unlike their bull-headed counterparts.
