Adventure Pack

There were lots of cross-country skiers, some with their dogs, at the CU South trails this morning taking advantage of all the freshly fallen snow. Rucksack, Coco, and Sputnik all stayed on leash as we hiked through the busiest stretch of trail. The skiers were steering clear of the eastern loop, so the dogs all enjoyed a good romp in the snow together off the leash when we made it to that section. Rucksack was the most excited of the bunch, while Sputnik was also very happy to stretch his legs. Coco made some playful moves as well but she didn't have quite the same energy level as her packmates.

Play Pack

The temperature was starting to drop again when the pack hit the Boulder Creek Path for a late afternoon walk. Sanaya and Buddy were the most interested in exploring the piles of snow alongside the path. Coco and Stella kept to the plowed terrain. Isaac wasn't as curious about exploring the snow as Sanaya and Buddy but neither was he hesitant to get right into it when he wanted to find a spot to relieve himself.
