Adventure Pack
Thompson joined the pack this morning for our hike at the CU South Campus trails. He and Monarch were the most enthusiastic about being out in the snow, as they both had a noticeable extra bounce in their steps. Sputnik was pretty stubborn about following his nose off the side of the trail, so we practiced the principle that the more adamantly he pulled the more decidedly we would go in the other direction. When he stepped delicately to the side to sniff around, the pack lingered to let him get a whiff; but when he dove off to the side with disregard for pulling me over, he was stopped short and we firmly headed away from the side of the trail. Meanwhile, Clover and Coco both trotted along nicely at either side of me.
Play Pack
Isaac had a little less vim as he chased down tennis balls at the park today. Ruffers decided to pick up the slack by joining in for a bit of fetch alongside Isaac, Sanaya, and Coco. Thompson and Sanaya both enjoyed exploring the nooks and crannies of the old stumps at the south end of the park. Ruffers led a couple big runs, with Isaac and Sanaya both joining in to chase after their packmate.
