Sputnik had a couple friendly greetings this morning, including with a pair of sweet, white-and-tan dogs who's breed I couldn't quite place, but appeared to be some type of hound.  They came up and sniffed hello gently with Sputnik and Rucksack after first giving a passing sniff to Coco.  Rucksack was on leash at that time because he had just returned from running off after something I didn't see, and had temporarily lost his off-leash priveleges.  Even though Coco was off leash with him, she didn't pursue.  She instead waited for Sputnik and me and just trotted along the trail, though she had perked up and watched with interest as Rucksack took off.

Stella and Coco enjoyed a nice, calm walk along the Bear Creek trail this afternoon.  It was quiet, the sidewalk wasn't muddy like the trails were this morning, and it wasn't too cold out.  Stella frequently sniffed around in the grass beside the path and left a lot of scent marks along the way, taking her time to find the right spots.
