Leader of the Pack

Grasshoppers beware: Coco is out to get you.  She was pouncing after them during the hike again today.  There are a lot of them out this week - especially along the Baseline Trail that follows Baseline from the Chautauqua trailhead to the Gregory Canyon trailhead.

Rucksack's favorite yellow soccerball was becoming his favorite brown soccerball from all the dirt on it and it had a couple holes and was starting to fall apart, so it's not at the park anymore; but Rucksack had plenty of fun chasing and wrestling around with Coco today.  For the latter part of our visit, Coco and Rucksack both played with a fluffy black eight-month-old puppy named Desi.  All three of them had a great time!  Rucksack liked hopping up on his back legs and pawing at Desi; Coco developed a new maneuver by first pinning Desi and then flopping down on her own back on top of Desi.
