Adventure Pack

Sputnik and Coco saw several dogs on the trails this morning.  Sputnik has been staying calm with other dogs pretty consistently for a while now.  The only time he reacted today was when one dog stopped in place, staring at us.  That drew a return stare from Sputnik and a brief, shrill growl that he cut out as soon as I got his attention and told him to sit.  Once sitting, he kept his attention on me and stopped worrying about the other dog, who soon continued on his own way.

Play Pack

In addition to Coco and Isaac's usual round of fetch at the dog park this afternoon, they both joined in to play with some other dogs as well.  Even Thompson found a playmate for a couple bouts of hopping and wrestling today.  Meanwhile, Ruffers was her usual, social self from the outset and quickly found some dogs with whom to run.  After her initial flurry of greetings and activity, she followed me around and wrestled around a bit with her packmate, Coco.
