Adventure Pack
Rucksack found a stick to haul for part of the hike as he and Coco trotted the trail together, off-leash. Near the end of our hike, Rucksack spotted some deer in the distance and couldn't help himself from chasing them off. When he returned to the pack, Coco leapt around playfully to greet him, which got Sputnik hopping around and making playful moves, in turn. Mamacita must not have noticed the deer, because she didn't react at all even though chasing the deer in the hills by her house is one of her favorite ways of getting into trouble.
Play Pack
Isaac wanted Coco to chase him from the outset of our hike at the CU South trail this afternoon. He kept running up to her, giving a sharp bark, making a quick move, and then running away. Coco entertained him a bit, but made no attempt to keep up when Isaac took off. Meanwhile, Ruffers and Thompson were taking their time to sniff along the trail together. Later on, Ruffers and Coco wrestled around together for a bit. Stella and Mamacita trotted along with me and sniffed dogs who stopped to say hello. Stella was very polite with all of them, while Mamacita got a bit worked up about one Rottweiler mix who had her jumping up and down in place and barking. It seemed like she wanted to get him to play and to spook him at the same time.
