Adventure Pack

Monarch chomped on snow throughout our hike this morning, scooping up a mouthful every few paces.  Whenever we took a potty break, everyone's playful sides came out as they started play bowing and hopping around one another.  Sputnik and Monarch kicked it off the first time and then I settled them down so we could keep hiking without getting leashes tangled up.  A little while later, Sputnik and Monarch went for it again and were soon joined by Coco, who focused her attention on Sputnik.  While they were in the midst of bowing and leaping, Monarch went over to Clover and gnawed at the scruff of her neck until Clover was worked up and started making playful moves, too.  It took a little while to finally regain everyone's attentions, but we eventually managed to get back to hiking our way back to the packmobile.

Play Pack

Isaac had some trouble keeping track of the tennis ball in the snow today, so I had to help him find it every once in a while.  Coco was more interested in snowballs than tennis balls today, so I threw some of those to her.  Ruffers and Coco wrestled around with each other a bit and were occassionally joined by Isaac, who ran over to woof at them while still holding his tennis ball.  Meanwhile, Thompson wandered all over the park.  There weren't many other dogs at the park to interact with, but he was still up and about on four legs for the entire time.  The cold weather definitely had him feeling a bit more lively than usual.
