Adventure Pack

A dog passed by us on our way up the Chautauqua Trail and the pack was continuing on nicely until Sputnik decided he needed to growl to make a point at the very last moment after the other dog was already beyond us and on his way.  I took a moment to address Sputnik and have him lie down, which he did promptly while the rest of the pack stood in place and waited calmly.  We passed several other dogs along the trail after that and Sputnik behaved himself much better.  Thompson and Sputnik both left scent marks numerous times along the trail today.  Coco and Mamacita were not so concerned about leaving their marks.

Play Pack

Sanaya and Buddy are back in town for a bit and they joined Ruffers, Coco, and Mamacita for a walk along the Boulder Creek Path this afternoon.  About halfway through our walk, we stopped in a grassy field to hang out for a minute.  Sanaya and Coco each found a stick to chew on and flaunt in front of their packmates.  Sanaya really hammed it up by rolling around on her back while still chewing her stick.  Once Coco dropped her stick, Ruffers grabbed it up and chewed it for a minute, too.
