Adventure Pack

Yoda and Sputnik enjoyed a hike at the Chautauqua together this morning.  They had a romp through the grass that was soaked from some earlier rainfall.  After they were done chasing each other and came back to the trail, they were both soaked themselves.

Play Pack

The pack met Sanaya's new family member today - a black Lab named Buddy.  Coco was a little wary of Buddy and let out a squeal when he was sniffing hellos, but once she realized he had only friendly intentions she settled down.  Isaac told Buddy to back off when Buddy was a bit pushy as they greeted each other, and Buddy calmly backed off and gave Isaac his space.  Ruffers was very excited to meet a new packmate and she immediately dropped into a play bow and wiggled around in the flirty way she often does when inviting other dogs to play.  Thompson and Buddy gave each other a brief sniff and each decided the other was ok.  Everybody walked very nicely as a group together.  Isaac and Coco seemed to be over their initial hesitation by the end of our walk as everyone was getting along nicely.  Unfortunately, Buddy and Sanaya are both leaving the pack for California along with Fritz, who has been sitting out from pack activities due to a leg injury.  The pack will miss them all!
