Adventure Pack

We came across several dogs on our hike this morning and Sputnik was back to being calm after going through a rough patch at the end of last week.  Stella wanted to stop and mark a lot of spots along the way.  She isn't used to drinking out of the Camelbak yet but hopefully she will get more accustomed to it now that she's coming on longer hikes.  Mamacita doesn't go for it like Sputnik and some other pack members do, but when I hold it right next to the side of her mouth she doesn't turn away from it anymore and actually licks her lips when she see's me start giving water to her packmates.  Hopefully, Stella will follow in Mamacita's pawsteps in that regard.

Play Pack

Sanaya met a Husky who she had a fun time playing with at the park today.  He also wanted to play with Thompson and they hopped around a bit, but eventually the young Husky was getting too pushy and Thompson told him off, so he went back to playing with Sanaya.  Meanwhile, Ruffers was joining in with every group chase around the park and making friends.  Coco enjoyed playing fetch.  Later on, Ruffers and Sanaya had fun with Coco, chasing her around.  When they started to get a little too amped up with barking at Coco and darting in and out at her, I intervened and had them all come sit with me for a moment.  Then, Ruffers and Coco started snuggle-wrestling and Sanaya just wanted to be pet.
