Adventure Pack

Chelsea joined the pack for our hike up the Anemone and Red Rocks trails this morning.  Sputnik took an interest in her and tried laying his head over her back a few times as they were walking alongside each other, but I put a stop to that.  Chelsea, Sputnik, Mamacita, and Ruffers all hopped into the stream at a couple points along the way.  Mamacita and Sputnik waded through the water as it ran right next to the trail for a stretch.

Play Pack

Chunk had a fun time running around the dog park this afternoon.  Coco played fetch.  Chunk followed her around a bit, nibbling at her neck a couple times and earning an annoyed retort from her at one point.  Chelsea found a dog who caught her interest and the two of them kept gravitating toward each other, but then Chelsea would try to throw her head over his back and he would jump away and give her a stern growl to not be so pushy.  Meanwhile, Stella was getting to know a little puppy who was enjoying his first dog park outing.  He followed her around and she seemed to be enjoying his company, but every once in a while she would sit down and give a single, stern bark to tell him not to jump on her.  It seems today was a day of communicating boundaries.
