Adventure Pack

Benny and Milo took their time moseying along the trail today while Sputnik and Mamacita were frequently drawn off the side of the trail by their noses.  As with this whole, hot week, the pack took a nice, long break at the stream to cool off.  There were a group of kids on a field trip there and Benny started to nose at one of their lunchbags as we passed by, causing giggles from the kids.  The rest of the pack minded their manners and kept their noses to themselves.

Oliver and Isaac joined our usual Friday pack members Coco and Stella for a walk along the CU South trail loop this afternoon.  Stella, Isaac, and Coco all got into the muddy water in the ditch alongside the trail at the beginning of our walk, while Oliver stayed clean on dry land.  When we came to the clearer stream and eventually the pond, the three of them washed the mud off and Oliver dipped his paws in the water.  Coco, Stella, and Isaac then enjoyed writhing around on their back in the tall grass, leaving Coco in particular with a lot of foxtails to be pulled from her coat.
