Adventure Pack

We took it slow on the trails again this morning.  Benny and Oliver kept stopping in shady spots at the outset, unconvinced by my assurances that it would be better to keep going so we could get to the creek sooner.  Once we reached it, everyone waded lazily through the water for a while before heading a short way up the Saddle Rock Trail and then turning around to make our way back.

Play Pack

Isaac and Sanaya were both full of energy and ran it out together in a few long sprints at the outset of our hike.  Meanwhile, Coco trotted on the trail with me and Thompson and Ruffers lingered behind to sniff around.  Eventually, everyone settled into a common pace and we made our way along the stream with everyone taking frequent detours to re-wet themselves.
