Adventure Pack

Milo, Thompson, and Sputnik were all happy to take a couple breaks at the creek by the trail this morning, while Mamacita opted not to dive in with her packmates.  Thompson and Sputnik were particularly eager, so we had a couple lessons in patience and in refraining from pulling ahead on the leash.  By the end of the hike, Milo had begun taking any pause as an oppotunity to lie down and take a load off.

Play Pack

Rucksack spent much of our park visit playing fetch.  Sanaya and Coco both joined in for a few tosses here and there, but they didn't match Rucksack's speed and determination to get to the ball first, and they eventually gave up trying.  Fritz and Ruffers both wandered around making friends, although Ruffers was less animated than usual and didn't get into any big runs or wrestling matches.  She chased Rucksack a few times as he ran back to me with tennis ball in mouth.  Coco decided that the kiddie pool was the best place to be today and she spent a long while just lying in the cool water.  Benny followed me around the park, making occasional detours to greet other dogs.
