Adventure Pack
As we were walking up the sidewalk on a side street toward the Chautauqua trails, a dog came charging out of a house and right into the pack. I pulled the dog off immediately as she came upon us and thankfully Mamacita, Sputnik, Milo, and Thompson weren't hurt and didn't freak out too much. Sputnik started to react for half of a second but backed off when he saw that I had the other dog under control. I took a little while to check everyone after the owner came and got the dog, and I made sure there were no bites. The owner's other dog was much more mellow and friendly and came over to make peace. Everyone was ok, and they all enjoyed the hike afterwards and weren't upset by any other dogs that we passed along the way.
Play Pack
Ruffers and Coco were very playful with one another at the park today. They both like to bat at each other with their paws while hopping and wrestling around, and it's very cute to watch. Sanaya joined in every now and then. She was especially interested in getting Coco's attention. Sanaya and Coco both also played a little bit of fetch during our park visit. Benny was greeted enthusiastically by a young, male Vizsla who elicited some playful stances from him, though they didn't end up engaging any further than that. Ruffers and Sanaya were both taken by the Vizsla and groomed his ears to try to gain his attention, but he was quickly off to go find more playmates.
