Adventure Pack

We encountered a couple dogs at the trailhead this morning and Sputnik did a good job of staying relaxed and not reacting.  He and Milo both made slight groans as they watched an excitable Golden Retriever hopping around and whining as he greeted the other dog a little up the trail from us, but they were both easily distracted when I called them over to make a little more distance.  The trails were totally empty for the rest of our hike due to the inclement weather.  Bennybrought up the rear of the pack while Milo, Sputnik, and Mamacita walked at my sides.  When we returned to the trailhead, Mamacita was teased by a Magpie who hopped up onto the fence as we approached and then stared and squawked while Mamacita bowed, whined, and hopped around frustratedly.

We took a walk on leash along Bear Creek this afternoon to avoid the mud.  Fritz made occasional stops to shake off the snow as it gathered on him.  Sanaya, Coco, and Stella were less perturbed, though they also shook it off a couple times.
