Sputnik and Milo were both busy sniffing everything along the trail again today while Benny trotted along at my side and occasionally went over to see what his packmates had found.

A light rain had started when we set out this afternoon.  It gradually soaked through the coats of Coco, Isaac, Ruffers, Sanaya, Fritz, and Thompson as we made our way around the trail at CU South.  We only passed a couple other dogs along the way.  Fritz, Thompson, and Isaac all followed along without showing much interest in the other dogs.  Coco pretended there was something interesting at the side of the trail as each other dog approached, in an attempt to get us to stop and linger to greet.  Sanaya and Ruffers didn't particularly care about the first dog that passed, but they both became very alert when the next dog lingered behind his (or her) human, apparently a bit intimidated by the size of our group as we approached.  I kept the pack to one side of the trail and the nervous pup took a wide berth as we neared and passed.
