Coco and Rucksack had fun stealing a stick back and forth from one another again on the hike today.  Mogul made friends with a few kids when he wandered in between them and they all started petting him.  He looked at me with a grin and stood there enjoying the attention for a couple minutes.  When I called him to come along, he was very hesitant to give up his new friends.

At the park, Coco played with a young brown pup named Lily and a young tan pup whose name I didn't get.  They had a three-way tug-of-war with a rope toy, and at one point Coco got it and played keep-away with it.  Rucksack retrieved the soccerball for a long while.  Osiris met a Siberian Husky who was eager to play and kept leaping around in front of him and nosing him.  He had some fun with her, but she was so high-energy that he couldn't keep up!  Mogul lounged around for a lot of the time, but when we were walking around the park I discovered a new play tactic that he enjoys.  I've noticed that when he plays with other dogs (which he hasn't been doing as much lately) he likes to chase and nip at their hindquarters.  I used the same idea with him by giving him some quick, soft grabs at his sides and on his butt; and he responded by playfully spinning around and pawing at me - very cute!
