Adventure Pack
Thompson and Milo both decided they had enough climbing for one day, early on once we started up the 1st Flatiron trail. Milo lay down in the middle of the trail while Thompson wandered off to sniff around the rocks and refused to follow me, Sputnik, and Mamacita up. I tried to encourage them to keep going but when it was clear they were done, I brought us back down and stuck to the gentler trails.
Play Pack
Benny got into some hop-and-wrestle matches as a dog named Bear first tried to mount him and then later Benny danced around a fluffy black-coated dog and tried his paw at mounting in turn. Meanwhile, Ruffers was flirting it up with a young, intact, male, German Shorthaired Pointer. The two of them kept each other busy for a long while, with lots of hip-checks and playful over-the-shoulder glances from Ruffers. Meanwhile, Coco chased down some tennis balls, greeted dogs, and received love and pets from her favorite park-going humans. Mamacita had a wiggle in the grass and then just followed me around as I walked the park.
