Adventure Pack

Milo had his first time off the leash since his second recent wandering, and thankfully he stuck with the pack today!  He and Benny followed behind, lingering to sniff in the brush as Sputnik and Mamacita hiked along at my side on leash.

We had a pack of mostly little ones as Oliver, Stella, Coco, and Charlie walked along with their bigger packmates Isaac and Coco.  It's a little confusing have two Coco's in the pack at the same time.  Whenever I call to one, they both look to me - though I guess that's a lot better than neither of them paying attention!  So I make sure to acknowledge them both in order to maintain that responsiveness.  The pack did a great job of keeping places and staying untangled as we walked.  Charlie was a little distracted by her nose but didn't pull too much.  At one point, when she was especially excited by the scent she had picked up, I indulged her and brought the pack off the side of the path.  The whole pack quickly picked up on the same smell and they all spent a while with their noses to the ground before they got their fill and we moved along.
