Adventure Pack

Benny had a sudden burst of energy about halfway through our hike this morning, and starting racing up the trail and back with a playful gait.  Milo didn't take the bait, though, and kept walking along in line behind me, letting Benny wind himself down.  Later on, Milo wandered over a nearby ridge.  When I called, him, it took a minute for him to come, but when he did he came bounding through the snow.  I think he had been wiggling around on his back in the snow because his coat was a little wet on his back.

Play Pack

Sanaya and Sputnik had a lot of fun racing each other up and down the trail and through the field alongside it this afternoon.  Mamacita wanted to join them and communicated this to me by rearing back and leaping forward every now and then, but unfortunately I can't trust her not to wander way off and get into trouble off the leash.  Meanwhile, Stella was lingering behind the pack and taking her time to thoroughly sniff every inch of the trail.  Fritz walked right along behind me throughout the walk, but there were a couple times when he suddenly stopped, shouldered down into the snow, and then went nuts rolling all around in it.  After he had his fill, he was back to walking along right behind me.
