Adventure Pack
Milo and Benny stuck to the trail today. The deeper snow is a bit awkward to walk through without snow shoes right now, with the way it almost hold you up and then suddenly drops you down, so I sympathized with their disinterest in making their way through that. We mostly had a quiet hike, though we did greet an auburn-coated Doodle who greeted Milo and Benny both with great enthusiasm.
Play Pack
Sanaya, Fritz, and Charlie couldn't figure out who wanted to walk in what position as we made our way along the Bear Creek Path today. I tried to establish some order, but Charlie was especially tuned into her own world. Sanaya was my rock for most of the time, taking up the position furthest out from me, but then she got distracted by the smells along a snowbank we passed and got all mixed up with the others. Meanwhile, Mamacita and Stella - who have been coming out with the pack the longest and most frequently - knew exactly what to do and stayed right in step for the entire walk. Coco, on the other hand, kept veering over to the other side of me to get tangled up with her sister and the others. When we took some pit stops along the way, Stella, Sanaya, and Fritz all enjoyed climbing around on the snow banks beside the path.
