Adventure Pack

Milo enjoyed a good wiggle in the snow today.  Oliver had a fun time sniffing around the trail while Benny and Mamacita hiked along next to me.  Everyone perked up at the sound of a group of birds that were all chirping and squawking up ahead along the trail.  As we approached, I saw that a hawk had killed another bird and a bunch of magpies were all following them around and harassing the hawk over it's kill.  Then I saw a larger hawk flying overhead and I put Oliver back on the leash to keep him close, just to be safe.

We encountered a boxer along our walk this afternoon who was pulling at his leash and who growled as we passed, which elicited stern retaliatory growls from Sputnik and Mamacita; however, I was glad to see that they both went by the next pair of dogs we passed shortly thereafter without incident.  Thompson, Isaac, and Ruffers all trotted along calmly and pleasantly throughout.
