Adventure Pack

Milo was very excited to go say hello to the first dog we encountered on the trail this morning.  After some sniffs and playful hops together, he came bounding over to catch up with the rest of us with a big smile on his face.  After that, Benny and Milo explored the trails together, lingering a little bit behind Mamacita and me.  During the last stretch of our hike, Mamacita was getting ansy and getting rearing back and lunging forward to try to convince me to take her running, but it was a bit too slick for that and I can't trust her to stay close when she's off leash so she had to settle for walking along with me.

Play Pack

The whole pack was much more interested in sniffing than in walking at the beginning of our afternoon outing along Bear Creek.  Sanaya, Sputnik, and Stella all sniffed around the edge of the tennis court with intense focus before taking turns peeing.  Thompson and Mamacita went to the snow bank on the other side of the path and investigated for a while before making some yellow snow.  Then, everybody wandered around in the snow a bit, sniffing and peeing one after the other.  Once we got moving, we had a good walk with everyone keeping position at a nice pace until we came upon another area that smelled too interesting to pass.  It was a challenge keeping the leashes untangled, but with a little cooperation we managed to to get into too much of a mess.
