Adventure Pack

Oliver and Milo explored the trail side-by-side off leash this morning while Benny kept me company.  When we stopped for a water break at one point, Benny happily lapped it up while Oliver wasn't interested and Milo opted to chomp on a nearby patch of snow instead.

Ruffers and Thompson immediately began mingling and making friends when we entered the park this afternoon.  Isaac stared at me expectantly, waiting for me to find a tennis ball to throw for him.  Sputnik walked the perimeter with me as I kept an out out for a ball to satisfy Isaac.  When I located the object of Isaac's desire, he fell into his usual routine of perpetual fetching, broken up only by occassional stops to roll around in the mud.  Thompson joined in a hop-and-wrestle match with a couple lady dogs and then started trying to get a little too friendly with them.  Sputnik ran around with some dogs until toward the end of our visit when a Burnese Mountain Dog with whom he has had some difficulty showed up.  Sputnik tried to tackle him and and grabbed him and pulled him away.  Shortly after, we approached the Burner and his human on-leash, and then walked them around together for a little bit.  Eventually, Sputnik sniffed the Burner, Buck, without incident.  Maybe next time he'll let Buck sniff him.
