Adventure Pack
Benny and Rucksack bounded through the freshly-fallen snow when we first set out on our hike this morning. Before long, Rucksack had a mask of white dust covering his face. Rucksack anxiously led the way, sprinting back every now and then to make sure the rest of us were appreciating how awesome the snow was. Benny made more frequent trips back and forth from Rucksack to me and Roger Roger. Roger Roger had his turn to romp later, but squandered the chance by harassing Benny instead of running around and enjoying the snow. When it became clear he was just going to keep barking at his packmate, he went back on the leash so I could keep him in check and allow Benny to enjoy himself.
Play Pack
Thompson ran off into the snow as soon as we set out on the trail at CU South this afternoon. Ruffers quickly followed suit and then I let Spuntik off to go play with her. Milo had an extra bounce in his step as we hiked through the snow. Dexter made some playful moves as he walked along on the leash. He especially liked when Ruffers and Sputnik would come back to the group and bump and nizzle him for a moment. Isaac was pretty amped to run in the snow. He got some energy out before deciding to run up and bark alongside a cross-country skier who passed us, which earned him the rest of the walk on the leash. All-in-all the dogs were thrilled to be out in the snow, and very enthusiastic.
