Adventure Pack

Rucksack and Roger Roger took turns with a nice, big stick along the trails today.  Milo grabbed on and broke a piece off of the end for himself.  He and Roger Roger had some fun running thorugh the snow together.  Thompson wandered through the snowy brush and rolled around on his back in the snow, thoroughly enjoying his native weather.

Play Pack

Ruffers was instantly making friends as soon as she got through the gate at the park today, and she continued to greet and play with new dogs all through our visit.  She raced with a couple German Shepherds for a while.  Later on, Ruffers, Mamacita, and Sanaya all ran around with a black Lab and a dog who looked a bit like a Leonberger, but a bit smaller and without the mask.  Sanaya also enjoyed a bit of fetch but then she lost interest when a German Shepherd came over and started competing for it.  Benny followed the group around the park but didn't join in any chases.  However, he and Sanaya did have some fun hopping around with a Boxer.  After his outbursts a couple weeks ago and then being away last week, Sputnik stayed on the leash and I approached as many dogs as I could with him, in order to practice friendly greetings with unfamiliar dogs.  He did well for the most part and only started to growl a bit at a Bernese Mountain Dog and a young Husky, but he contained himself and was able to sniff them politely with the help of a few gentle redirects.
