It has been a busy week preparing for the Thanksgiving holiday! We have a full house of 8 pack members staying with us and everyone has gotten along together well. Sanaya and Fritz are adjusting to being away from home, and are getting more and more comfortable. Mamacita, who has spent a lot of time over here and who already knows both Sanaya and Fritz from pack outings, has been a great amabassador to our new additions. Sanaya and Fritz have spent a lot of their time hanging out in Mamacita's company, although they are starting to feel comfortable around the others as well. Benny and Oliver have been making themselves at home. Oliver has been perching on sofa-back cushions as is his preference, while Benny has made sure to stnad around wherever he can be the most in the middle of whatever we're doing. Stella, who is having her first boarding visit with us as well, has followed suit with Benny and is also frequently to be found in the kitchen, in the hallway, or wherever we might be passing through. Rucksack and Roger Roger, on the other hand, have found a comfortable nook in a back room attached to out bedroom, where they like to lie butt-to-butt during quiet times around the house. At the park and on the trails, the two brothers are full of energy and ready to explore, haul sticks, and chase tennis balls.
Of those who haven't been staying with us, Milo has had fun wandering through the brush on his hikes this week along with Roger Roger. Yesterday at the park, he got He stopped by the house this afternoon and got to spend a little time hanging out with all of his packmates who are staying here. Sputnik had a good walk Monday and made a few playful moves with Sanaya as they walked along on leash together. Isaac kept busy playing fetch at the park Tuesday, while Ruffers easily made friends with some dogs with whom she enjoyed running and wrestling. Thompson and Coco & Charlie won't be seeing the pack this week and their packmates will miss them and be happy to see them again next week!
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!
