Adventure Pack
Roger Roger found a stick about halfway through our hike today and I think it may have been the same one he dropped yesterday. He didn't hold onto it for long, but a short while later he found another stick that he carried all the way back to the car with him. Rucksack wasn't interested in stick-hauling today. A hiker asked early on if Oliver can keep up on the trail with the big dogs. I told her that he is usually leading the pack by the end. True to form, Oliver was a few yards ahead of the rest of the group as we made our way down Bluebell Road. Meanwhile, Benny was meandering through the brush and then periodically trotting to catch up.
Play Pack
We had a nice long walk along Bear Creek this afternoon as the pack all walked in unison nicely, allowing us to travel a bit further down the path than usual. Sputnik, Thomspon, and Milo each peed in turn at one spot, then Isaac and Ruffers relieved themselves a little way up the trail; after everyone finished their business, the whole pack was happy to keep up a relatively swift pace with minimal jockeying for positions. Even when we paused for a photo, everyone sat in place nicely and they were all very easy to direct. It was nice to have the whole pack on the same page!
