Adventure Pack

Roger Roger and Benny had some fun running alongside each other on the trails today.  Roger Roger enjoyed trying to chew on Benny's ears while Benny leapt and dodged around him.  Rucksack found a stick to haul for a portion of the hike, but left it behind after getting distracted when he and Milo discovered something interesting to sniff in the brush.

Thompson and Sputnik met our new packmate Sanaya today.  Thompson showed more interest in Sanaya than in most dogs, as he tends to do with fellow Huskies.  Sputnik and Sanaya got along great.  They were very friendly right from the beginning and then on our walk they started hopping, bowing, and spinning around with each other.  I had to keep them in check since we were walking on leash, but I expect they'll have a lot of fun together when we go to the park Wednesday.  Stella and Mamacita both enjoyed rolling around in the grass when we stopped to take a picture.  Sanaya was quick to follow suit and stretched out in the grass herself.  Then, even Thompson flopped down into the grass and had a wiggle for a minute, which was unexpected!  Sputnik was the only one who maintained composure and lied down politely without all the flopping, wiggling, and rolling around, which was also a surprise.
