Adventure Pack

Milo hung back a bit on our way up the mountain on the Chautauqua trail this morning and made friends with other hikers.  Once we got through the ascent, he stayed with the group much better.  Rucksack, on the other hand, kept running up ahead.  Roger Roger and Benny were somewhere in the middle, wandering where their noses took them but not lingering nor pressing forward too much.

Play Pack

Mamacita returned to the pack today after taking last week off due to an injury she sustained over the previous weekend.  Her energy level was good through the walk, though when we returned to the car she promptly started napping.  I think Stella would have been content just to sniff around the beginning of the trail for our entire outing, but I coaxed her along so we could walk the loop.  Thompson was pulling off to the side of the trail where he sometimes likes to wander way off, so I kept him on the leash today to avoid having to chase him down.  Sputnik was energetic but well behaved, and curious about his packmate's healing wound, which he thoroughly sniffed before we set out.
