Adventure Pack

Benny loves to stop in place whenever we come across other hikers on the trails.  He got sympathy from one hiker who told him, "I know how you feel," as she leaned on a rock, catching her breath.  Meanwhile, Rucksack and Roger Roger were raring to go and wanted to keep up the pace.  Oliver walked alongside Benny and followed his taller brother's lead.

I kept a close eye on Thompson after letting him off leash since he has tended to wander off at CU Southlately, and I kept stepping in his way whenever he started heading in the direction where he usually takes off.  It worked out well and Thompson didn't try too hard to get by me.  Eventually, we came to a spot that still had some running water and I let him go down to it, and he actually came back to the group when I called him instead of just ignoring me and doing his own thing.  Meanwhile, Isaac proudly paraded around with a tennis ball he found along the way and Sputnik chased him around in the brush.  Ruffers and Milo brought up the rear of the pack, but didn't linger too far behind.
