Adventure Pack

Oliver was lagging behind on our way up the mountain today and passing hikers expressed sympathy for him trying to keep up with the big dogs.  They didn't realize that Oliver was just preoccupied with sniffing around.  Eventually, I waited for him to catch all the way up and then let him take the lead, and he happily bounded ahead.  Meanwhile, Benny was less enthusiastic about the climb and took every opportunity to pause and greet people along the way.  Rucksack and Roger Roger made their way without skipping a beat, except to sniff other dogs in passing.

Play Pack

Milo was first in the water at the pond at CU South today, soon followed by Sputnik and Thompson.  However, Sputnik and Thompson only walked around at belly-depth while Milo went out for a swim.  Meanwhile, Ruffers stayed along the bank and only got her paws wet.  When it was time to move on for a walk around the loop, it took a lot of convincing to get Milo to follow along with the rest of the group and leave the water behind.
