Adventure Pack
Milo and Benny took their time today to sniff around in the brush alongside the trail. We passed a group of older hikers on our way up Bluebell-Baird. One of the women asked about Benny's ridged back and I stopped to chat for a moment, but the other women was made uncomfortable by Roger Roger's attention and said she didn't want to be sniffed, so we moved on. About halfway through the hike, Rucksack grabbed up a pinecone and then carried it all the way back to the parking lot.
Play Pack
Charlie had her nose to the ground for almost our entire walk this afternoon, and kept trying to draw the pack further off the path and into the brush. Meanwhile, Coco did a good job of keeping up today and didn't slip her collar once to hang back and lie down for a rest. The cooler weather we're beginning to have is a welcome change. Ruffers received a pat on the head from a presumptuous passing skateboarder who reached out just as he passed by. Ruffers looked a little confused by what had just happened, but didn't jump or nip at him and took the surprise in stride. Stella enjoyed another round of wiggling in the grass in the park at the end of the walk while I tried to round everyone together for a photo.
