Coco and Rucksack hiked together today, and they had a great time. They started off running along side-by-side. A short way into the hike, Rucksack found a stick he liked and brought it with us. Coco stole it from him after a while and then Rucksack stole it back, and it went back and forth like that for about half the hike until they both left the stick behind. Only a short while later, Rucksack found a huge stick that was about 5 feet long and pretty thick. Coco tried to steal that from him, too, but she only managed to drag it about 3 yards before she gave up and left it to Rucksack. After that, Rucksack was lagging behind a bit while trying to manage his trophy, and every 15 seconds or so I'd hear a kathunk a little ways behind me and look back to see Rucksack standing with the stick at his feet.
Coco and Hershey wrestled around with each other a lot at the park today. Hershey tried fetching a few tennis balls but Coco was too fast and always beat him to it. She's been getting very good at fetching, although she still usually only brings the ball back to my general vicinity and not quite to me. We found the yellow soccerball that Rucksack likes to play with whenever he's at the park. Coco figured out how to press into it and pick it up in her mouth like Rucksack and Buzz do. Hershey had no hope of following Coco's lead on that one, considering the size of the ball relative to his mouth, but he had fun hopping on it with his front paws and balancing against it.
