Adventure Pack
We were back to getting sprinkled on this morning, but Milo was still eager to spend some time wading in the stream! Ruffers, Rucksack, and Roger Roger were content to wait around at the water's edge until Milo was satisfied and we continued on up the Anemone trail. Rucksack took a very particular interest in Ruffers and spent much of the hike licking at her ears the way he has often done to Milo and some others; he didn't stop there, however, and attempted to mount her several times. Though Ruffers didn't put up a protest, I made him get off each time and watched him closely to interrupt his future advances. Meanwhie, Roger Roger and Milo were happily hiking along without any interest in their packmates' affairs.
Play Pack
Mamacita, Sputnik, and Ruffers all had a blast at the park today. This cooler, wetter weather has brought out the dogs' playful sides and they've been very eager to run around together. We had the park mostly to ourselves and I got them going by running a bit to start a chase. Sputnik and Ruffers followed me whie Mamacita came sprinting by and got the others to let the lead out. Sputnik and Ruffers also played a lot of fetch. Sputnik was usually the one to get the ball, with Ruffers following in tow; but sometimes Ruffers beat him to it. A Great Pyrenees showed up and was a bit shy, but followed Sputnik and Ruffers for some fetches. Eventually, Mamacita showed off some moves that got the Pyrenees feeling playful and they all went for a little run-and-dodge together.
