Adventure Pack

Chelsea, my very first pack member, and her brother Chunk joined for the hike today since we are boarding them while their first human sibling is being born.  Chunk did pretty well on his three legs and I think Milo and Chelsea were both happy to take a slow pace.  Roger Roger had some energy to spare, though he didn't act restless.  We didn't head as far up the mountain as usual and instead spent a good deal of time hanging out along the stream, which everyone enjoyed.

Play Pack

Sputnik and Mamacita both had a lot of fun with a Golden Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix who showed up a little while after us.  She was extremely bouncy and the three of them all had fun chasing and dodging one another.  Meanwhile, Stella and Thompson hung out in the shade of one of the shelters nearby.  Stella and Mamacita both enjoyed a bit of wiggling around in the grass at different points.  I managed to coax Thompson into the kiddie pool today but as soon as he stepped in he was already on his way out.  We tried again later and I got him to stay in for a few moments while I splashed his underside to help keep him cool.  Meanwhile, Sputnik was standing in the pool alongside him, happily enjoying the water.
