Adenture Pack

Rucksack found a small log at the top of our hike and brought it back down the mountain with us.  Once we were most of the way back, he set it down to go sniff in the brush and then Roger Roger grabbed it up.  A short while later, we came across a skunk making his way up the trail straight at us.  Rucksack was sniffing in the brush again and thankfully came to me when I called him back.  Roger Roger was on leash with me and Milo was following behind.  Me calling to Rucksack was enough to make the skunk realize we were just ahead of him, and he scurried off the side of the trail before he reached us.  It didn't smell too bad so I don't think he tried to spray, though there was a very faint odor as we passed the section of trail where I had seen him.  Close call!

Play Pack

Thompson, Sputnik, and Ruffers enjoyed a walk along Bear Creek this afternoon.  There was a bit of cloud cover, which Thompson especially appreciated.  Sputnik growled at one dog we passed but quickly stopped and sat in place when I addressed him.  Ruffers trotted along nicely just behind me, tending toward Thompson's side most of the time.
