Adventure Pack

We took a route off the main trail today which followed more closely along the stream; however, the side trail ended abruptly and we had to turn around and head back to our regular route along the main trail.  At least Rucksack, Milo, and Roger Roger got to splash in the water for a bit more of the hike than usual.

Play Pack

Stella spent the beginning of our walk around the CU South loop rolling in every interesting smell she found.  Due to all her pit-stops, she was making such slow progress that I eventually put her back on the leash to avoid further hold-ups.  Meanwhile, Coco chugged along off-leash right behind the pack.  Eventually, near the end of our walk, Coco understandably began to take breaks in every shady spot we passed. Despite how hot everyone was, they were all resistant to drinking water from the CamelBak even though it was nice and cool from some ice cubes I threw in there this morning.  Mamacita was the only one who actually drank a bit instead of just holding her mouth shut like everyone else.  Charlie surprisingly wasn't panting by the end of the walk and seemed pretty much unfazed by the heat.
