Adventure Pack

Benny, Oliver, Roger Roger, and Mamacita all had a nice hike up Saddle Rock today.  We kept a good pace and made it a bit further up the trail than we had yet this month.  The overcast weather helped keep us all a bit cooler so it was easier to keep moving.

Play Pack

Thompson, Milo, and Isaac all enjoyed a nice dip in the pond at CU South today.  Mamacita stayed on shore and Sputnik only got his paws wet while the others took full advantage of the body of water and came out dripping.  Later on, Thompson and Sputnik gave friendly greetings to a pair of white-coated Huskies who were walking on the lower path on the opposite side of the stream.  Thompson recognized his own kind and it took a while to convince him to leave them behind and keep walking with the pack, but eventually he did.  When Milo was off leash he hung back and showed little interest in walking, but when I snapped his leash back on he kept up alright without the need for any prodding.  Sputnik and Isaac ran with each other up and down the trail a bit.  Sputnik also tried to wrestle with Mamacita, who obliged him for a moment, but she couldn't get too into it since she was on the leash - where she stayed, because of her tendency to take off when she has the opportunity.
