Adventure Pack

We headed to CU South for a less strenuous walk after me having been sick last week, and pack members Charlie and Coco joined Milo, Benny, Rucksack, and Roger Roger for the day.  The pack got some practice with walking as a group on leash, as they seemed to need the work.  Rucksack and Charlie were the most eager to pull ahead and regularly had to be reminded to drop back into pace with the rest of us.  Milo, Benny, Roger Roger, and Coco did a good job aside from some position-hopping and subsequent tangling of their leashes.  One strip of trail was like a pond, but the rest of the trail had dried up fairly well already and thankfully the dogs didn't get too messy.

Play Pack

Mamacita and Sputnik dodged and wrestled around a bit together at the park.  They also indulged Sadie in a chase after watching her sprint in circles on her own for a minute.  Later on, Sadie met a goofy and shy young pup.  She managed to get him out of his shell and he chased her around for a little bit before she turned and started chasing him back.  Stella went off to explore on her own for a bit and found some good spots for wiggling around on the ground.  She calmly greeted the same puppy before Sadie and while she didn't end up playing with him, I think her demeanor helped him to feel more at ease.  Thompson spent more time hanging out next to me and letting me pet him than usual today; usually, he prefers getting attention from other peple at the park.  I think he missed me after he spent last week on vacation.
